Comrades Fall, Families sacrifice.  We stand in harm's way  so others can be free.  Thus is the way things have been for hundreds of years.  Sometimes, we trust our comrades to take care of our most precious families if we fall in combat.  In this presentation, some food for thought.  (3 MB) "Honor After the Fall".
